Susana Leyva, MCMSc, PA-C
Susana joined DSSP in 2018 and has been a Physician Assistant since 2012. A Tucson native and University of Arizona alum, she earned her Master’s in Clinical Medical Science from Barry University in Miami. Though she enjoyed reconnecting with her Cuban roots and beach life, she returned to Arizona to settle down with her husband, two kids, and two less-attractive dogs.

A die-hard Wildcats fan, Susana spends her free time cheering on her team or traveling to games in Tucson. Passionate about medicine, she brings a positive, caring approach to patient care—treating each person like family and always going the extra mile to support their health goals.
